Iurii Runs: Paid Ads

€400/mo per channel

Google Ads, Meta and Reddit run properly – conversion tracking that actually works, keywords and audiences chosen on data, and a fixed fee per channel instead of a percentage of your budget.

Paid Ads Management

Paid search and social are the only channels that answer the question this week instead of in six months. That makes them the right first move for a lot of businesses – and the fastest way to burn money when nobody is watching the account.

I run ads the way I run everything else: measurement first, then decisions from data. Before a single euro is spent I make sure conversions are actually being recorded – server-side where the browser can’t be trusted, consent handled properly, the numbers in the ad platform matching the numbers in your CRM. Roughly half the small accounts I look at are optimising against conversion data that is quietly wrong, which means the platform’s algorithm is learning from noise.

After that it’s the unglamorous work, every month: search-term reports and negative keywords, audience and placement cleanup, ad copy that gets tested rather than admired, bids and budgets moved toward what converts, and landing pages fixed when the problem turns out to be the page rather than the ad. I can change the landing page myself – that’s the part a marketing agency has to email your developer about.

One fixed fee per channel. Not a percentage of your budget, because a percentage pays me more for spending more of your money, and that is exactly the wrong incentive.

How I price it, and why

Almost every agency charges 10–20% of ad spend, sometimes with a minimum. I don’t, and the reasoning matters more than the number:

  • A percentage of spend rewards me for spending more of your money. A fixed fee rewards me for making the account work. Those are different jobs, and only one of them is the one you’re hiring for.
  • The work doesn’t scale with your budget. An account with one campaign in one country takes the same weekly attention whether it spends €2,000 or €20,000. So the price follows the work: one advertising account, one market, one language.
  • What does scale is scope. More markets, more languages, a product feed or a shopping catalogue – each of those is genuinely more work, and each is priced as an additional channel slot instead of hidden in a percentage.
  • €400 per channel, per month, flat – from the first month. No separate setup fee: account structure, conversion tracking, keyword and audience research, and the first campaigns are covered by the same monthly rate.
  • Ad spend is paid by you, directly to Google, Meta or Reddit, from your own account and your own card. My fee is separate and never mixed with your budget.
  • The accounts stay yours. I get admin access, not ownership – if we stop working together, nothing has to be rebuilt and nothing is held hostage.

What’s included

  • Conversion tracking done properly first – GA4, Google Ads and Meta conversions, server-side tracking and Consent Mode where the browser loses events, verified against your real orders or leads
  • Account structure built or rebuilt – campaigns, ad groups, match types, audiences, exclusions; most inherited accounts are structurally broken rather than badly bid
  • Keyword and audience research per market and language, with the negative-keyword list that stops you paying for the wrong intent
  • Ad copy written and tested – variants that get measured against each other, not one set written once and left alone
  • Weekly optimization: search-term review, negatives, bids and budgets, placement and audience cleanup, pausing what doesn’t convert
  • Landing-page fixes when the page is the bottleneck – I change the page myself instead of filing a ticket with your developer
  • Monthly written report: what was spent, what it produced, what I changed and what happens next month
  • Channels: Google Ads, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), Reddit Ads – pick one or several

How I approach this

01

Access and measurement check

You give me admin access to the ad accounts and analytics – or I create them under your ownership. First thing I check is whether conversions are recorded correctly, because everything after this depends on it.

02

Month one: setup

Tracking fixed, account structure built, keyword and audience research done, first campaigns launched with a conservative budget while the data is thin.

03

Ongoing: weekly optimization

Search terms, negatives, audiences, bids, budgets, ad tests, landing-page fixes. Changes are logged so you can always see what I did and when.

04

Monthly report and decision

What it cost, what it returned, what changed. Including the uncomfortable version: if a channel isn’t working for your business, I’ll say so and recommend stopping it.

Terms & conditions

€400/month per channel, flat – no separate setup fee. Channels: Google Ads, Meta, Reddit.

One channel fee covers one advertising account, one market and one language, and a normal campaign set. Additional markets or languages, a product feed, or a shopping catalogue are each priced as an additional channel slot.

Ad spend is not included and is never invoiced through me. You pay Google, Meta or Reddit directly, from your own account.

The ad accounts, pixels and data stay in your ownership. I work with admin access.

No minimum term. Cancel at the end of any month.

Below roughly €300–500/month of ad spend per channel the campaigns can’t gather enough data to optimise – I’ll tell you that before we start rather than take the fee.

I guarantee the work and a written monthly report, not a specific cost per lead or return on ad spend. Anyone guaranteeing you ROAS in advance is guessing.

Invoiced monthly in advance. Finnish VAT rules apply (alv 0% for EU businesses with a valid VAT number).

We run both Google and Meta and previously had two separate agencies who never talked to each other – different numbers, different explanations for the same drop in leads.

What made me switch from our agency was the pricing model – they charged a percentage of spend, which made every conversation about ‘should we scale’ feel biased.
