Most 'quick calls' aren't quick — and they're not useful, because the person on the other end is improvising. I do it differently: you send me the problem in writing first, I take time to actually think about it, and we meet when I have something useful to say.
This is for founders who need to make a technical decision without a CTO, for teams stuck on an architectural problem, or for anyone who needs a second opinion from someone who's actually built these systems before.
I'll tell you honestly what I think — including if I don't think the problem is what you think it is, or if I'm not the right person to solve it. No upsell, no vague recommendations designed to make you hire me again.
